I get to watch history being made...again

I am a happy girl! My country has proved itself, once again, to be democratic and free. The campaign is done, the nation has voted, and now it is time to get down to business and fix this country's messes. I believe we will see change, I pray it will be quick, but I am realistic that change does not happen overnight. I pray for our country to be patient with our President-Elect and let him do his job. I pray we support him, not judge him. I pray that the angry Republicans and Democrats that voted Republican can accept the country's choice and be a part of the union. I pray for a peaceful transfer of power. Can I hear an Amen?

Amen and amen. Just the fact that a woman and a black man were up for nomination and election means that the change has already begun.

I have hope. DB

Amen, and Amen again! I am excited about the possibilities... we finally did it! For awhile there I was hopeful for a woman president, but when the right woman with the right skills and right words is nominated, it's good to know that she stands a good chance of being elected. When Obama speaks, I listen. His voice, his words, his directness and confidence gains my trust and my confidence. I've never listened to the news as much as I have these past few months, anticipating the the market fluctuations, the gas crisis, and the elections. Yes, change is in the air! Can't wait until January.
