Welcome to my home

This is my living room. I do all of my knitting and reading, sometimes blogging, and television watching here. In addition, I dance. Note the table is moved to the right, giving me more room for dancing. My fibro may be raging and the knee that won't heal may be screaming, but that doesn't stop the dancer in me from doing what I love. Did you see Sheba in the fireplace? I am allergic to wood smoke, so the fireplace has become her den. She has carpet remnant under her bolster pillow which is wrapped in a beach towel. Only the comfiest (is that a word?) for her!
My dining room is sparse. I use it mostly to do my business work or some writing on the laptop if I'm not sitting in front of the TV with the laptop on...where else?...my lap!
Yes, I got a new camera and am very happy with it. More pics to follow...

A absolutely lovely , comfortable home. My therapist told me I should dance. I told him I could barely follow a dancer that knew how to dance and my husband did not dance at all. He told me just fake it. But because of the balance I should have my husband close by. I am so sorry that your knee is not doing as well as you like. I am really under the weather so just getting back to a few. Take care and DANCE!!

Thanks for sharing your cozy abode. I love the Sheba and the fireplace thing. I use a PC so I if I compute it has to be in the bedroom (very small one bedroom apt) but that's ok with me. I have a one track mind so I really don't need to only do one thing at a time.
Hugs, Joyce

When I saw the fireplace, I thought, Oooo! But then I saw that it's Sheba's domain. LOL

What a great idea for the fireplace. My fireplace is "walled" in cause I definitely won't be packing wood anymore!! Really enjoyed the tour :)...........

Your dining room and living room are so lovely and comfortable looking. I could just make out Sheba in the darkness of the fireplace... I hope you will take another one with a little more lighting so I can see just how she occupies that space. I don't know anyone who has transformed their fireplace into a doggy den!! Thanks for letting me into your home... someday I will do the same. I love the prints you have on the LR walls... will you identify them for us?
