Snow Day - WooHoo!

It was one of those nights when I went to sleep feeling overwhelmingly tired and woke up way before my usual wakeup time feeling amazingly energized (3:30AM). This is not the norm. As it was, I went back to sleep at around 6, just to wake up at 8:30. I think I'm awake for the duration of the day. It is still snowing! I love it. The energy invades all of my senses and I feel renewed. Today I will catch up on my reading, watch The View, and stitch together patches to form a blanket to be given to the needy. I like snow days. It gives me permission to stay in and not perseverate over anything too important. I have plenty of food and plenty of wine, good music, and renewed spirits. Life is good. I don't have to worry about shoveling the snow. I live in a condo community and I pay good money for someone else to do it. I will have to walk Sheba and that will be a chore. She hates the snow. I keep her out and command, "Poop!", and she does, eventually. Yes, my precious Sheba poops on command. Jimmy are you reading this? Put that into your Possum's Journal (giggle and a wink...not a Palin wink, however; more of a Joan River's wink - did anyone see Celebrity Apprentice last night?). Have an awesome day!

Enjoy your day! We didn't get any snow at all, but it's cooooold. I'm with Lucy, I'm done with this winter!

I like your new pic! That looks like a good color on you.

We watched Celebrity Apprentice last night and loved it! It's so bad, it's good. We think the right person went home, although it was close for Rodman. What an interesting bunch this year, especially among the guys!

Hugs, Beth

Glad you have a snow day and hope you made the most of it.

The CA last night was great, we laughed and oohhh'd a lot. Should be an interesting first couple of weeks before they combine and the competition takes off. This is the fun time.

Hi Karen. Saw your link on Ora's blog and thought I'd pop in to check your your blog. So I see you are having snow. Well here in SoCal we were up in the 80's just a couple of days ago. Had a little rain yesterday though. Anyway, I'm going to be checking out some of your posts.

Karen, thank you for the lovely comments on my Picture. It was a beautiful day here yesterday but winter will return. Any new guy in your life?. Nosey aren't I. You know I don't expect an answer cause it is none of my business but an old lady can always give it a try. Lucy

I am glad someone enjoys the snow. :) I guess its all a matter of how you look at things. If it snowed here I could choose to enjoy it, or to hate it. Guess since its so rare here, I would try and enjoy it. :) You have a very positive outlook on things. Hugs, Kelly

Sorry I haven't been by sooner - I've really been pooped. I tried telling Possum to poop and he told me to blow it out my a$$.

I gues I wasn't using enough emphasis.
