A walk in the woods with Sheba

I saw the handsome doctor today. I told him how my knee was keeping me awake and I needed something stronger than an ice pack to calm it down. He was gracious, compassionate, and willing to please...but not in the manner in which I had dreamt...
He gave me a cortisone shot right there in that cursed knee! and now I feel like dancing...
Instead, I took Sheba for a walk. It is a crisp, cold, focused day here in S.E. PA. The snow fell this morning, enough to make the world look pure, but not enough to make the schools close. I did not have my camera with me for our morning walk so we missed taking pics of the snow covered park where Sheba likes to run.
However, I had my camera with me this afternoon when the temps rose to a brisk 34 degrees.
This is the nature trail we walk whenever my knee cooperates. We love it here.
She gets to sniff all kinds of stuff, and I get to commiserate with Mother Nature.

We end up at the pond in which many kinds of water fowl like to frolic.

Here they think I have some bread for them...HA! little do they know...

And so our walk ends with a very brisk walk home as the sunlight is failing and the temps are falling. Note the edges of the trail...snow covered!! I love snow!

You love snow? Come on over. You can frolic in it all you want! ;)

What a gorgeous nature trail. I can see why you and Sheba love it so much!

Stay warm!

The trial is definitely welcoming. Pickles would love it. I love snow too. As far as Pickles is concerned we don't have enough of it. (Hugs)Indigo

I am not a believer in suffering through the pain. My dear Granny (bless her soul) used to say she would eat a little bit of goose doodoo if she thought it would make her feel better. LOL. I'm glad you got some relief. Great photo's too.
Hugs, Joyce

That is a lovely walk. I am not looking forward to snow but know it will come. Hope your knee starts responding better. I think I am on the road to recovery. Lucy

Thank you Karen for visiting my new Journal!! I think it is a combination of not being sure of much of anything, plus a carryover from Journaling. I really miss that and felt that I was spinning my wheels, although this time of year is difficult for me. I guess I was trying to get a jumpstart to not go into a tailspin. I did to much complaining. Hope the change is good.
